CHICAGO HISTORY MUSEUM’S COSTUME BALL — Splash

Revelers got an exclusive look at the Chicago History Museum’s (1601 N. Clark) permanent collection, Chicago Styled: Fashioning the Magnificent Mile, at the institution’s annual Costume Ball Nov. 14. In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Costume Council, the black-tie gala featured 20 ensembles from the exhibition, all exploring the development of North Michigan Avenue as one of the country’s major fashion destinations. Proceeds raised will benefit the council’s mission to support the museum’s costume collections and exhibitions.
